Windows

1. Avvia Relate-Setup.exe e segui i passaggi, lasciando il percorso predefinito.Run Relate-Setup.exe and follow the steps, keeping the default path.
2. Il plugin viene installato in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Relate.vst3.The plugin is installed to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Relate.vst3.
3. Apri la DAW: se non esegue la scansione automatica, avvia un rescan dei plugin VST3.Open your DAW: if it does not scan automatically, run a VST3 plugin rescan.

macOS

1. Estrai Relate-Setup-Mac.zip e avvia Relate-Setup.pkg, seguendo i passaggi.Unzip Relate-Setup-Mac.zip and run Relate-Setup.pkg, following the steps.
2. Vengono installati entrambi i formati: VST3 in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 e AU in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.Both formats are installed: VST3 to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and AU to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
3. Apri la DAW e fai un rescan se necessario. In Logic Pro usa la versione AU: la scansione avviene all'avvio dell'applicazione.Open your DAW and rescan if needed. In Logic Pro use the AU version: scanning happens when the application starts.

Relate crea una cartella dati nei tuoi Documenti: Documenti\REE\Relate. I preset utente vivono in Documenti\REE\Relate\Presets; la guida (PDF) vive nella stessa cartella e si apre col tasto GUIDE nel pannello About. Relate creates a data folder in your Documents: Documents\REE\Relate. User presets live in Documents\REE\Relate\Presets; the guide (PDF) lives in the same folder and opens from the GUIDE button in the About panel.

Dopo l'acquisto ricevi per email il tuo codice licenza, nel formato RLT-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Ogni licenza copre 2 computer. After purchase you receive your license key by email, in the form RLT-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Each license covers 2 computers.

1. Apri Relate: senza licenza compare il pannello di sblocco (in seguito lo ritrovi dal menu del logo, voce License).Open Relate: without a license the unlock panel appears (later you can reach it from the logo menu, License entry).
2. Inserisci l'email d'acquisto e il codice licenza.Enter the purchase email and your license key.
3. Premi ACTIVATE. Alla conferma ("unlocked") il plugin è attivo su questa macchina.Press ACTIVATE. On confirmation ("unlocked") the plugin is active on this machine.

L'attivazione è l'unico momento in cui serve la rete. Relate non richiede una connessione permanente: se il computer è offline il plugin continua a funzionare senza limitazioni. Activation is the only moment that requires a connection. Relate does not need a permanent connection: if the computer is offline the plugin keeps working with no limitations.

Se il computer audio non ha accesso a internet: If the audio computer has no internet access:

1. Nel pannello di sblocco premi OFFLINE. Compare il machine id di questa macchina: copialo con COPY.In the unlock panel press OFFLINE. The machine id of this computer appears: copy it with COPY.
2. Da un qualsiasi dispositivo connesso vai su salvatoreversace.com/offline e inserisci email d'acquisto, codice licenza e machine id. Ottieni un testo di attivazione, che ricevi anche via email.From any connected device go to salvatoreversace.com/offline and enter your purchase email, license key and machine id. You get an activation text, which is also sent to you by email.
3. Porta il testo sul computer audio, incollalo nel campo "activation text" e premi APPLY.Bring the text to the audio computer, paste it into the "activation text" field and press APPLY.

Il testo di attivazione è legato al machine id: vale solo per la macchina per cui è stato generato. Se lo richiedi di nuovo per la stessa macchina ottieni un testo valido senza consumare un posto aggiuntivo. The activation text is tied to the machine id: it is only valid for the machine it was generated for. Requesting it again for the same machine returns a valid text without using up an extra seat.

La licenza copre 2 computer. Per spostarla su una macchina nuova, prima libera il posto su quella vecchia: Your license covers 2 computers. To move it to a new machine, first free the seat on the old one:

1. Apri Relate sulla macchina da liberare: menu del logo › About › MOVE LICENSE.Open Relate on the machine you are leaving: logo menu › About › MOVE LICENSE.
2. Nel pannello inserisci il tuo codice licenza e premi MOVE LICENSE.In the panel, enter your license key and press MOVE LICENSE.
3. Il posto è libero: attiva normalmente sul nuovo computer, online oppure offline.The seat is free: activate normally on the new computer, online or offline.

Senza rete: premendo MOVE LICENSE il plugin si disattiva comunque su questa macchina e salva una ricevuta sul Desktop (Relate-deactivation-<id>.txt). Carica quel file su salvatoreversace.com/offline, nella sezione dedicata alla disattivazione: il posto viene liberato. Per riattivare in seguito la stessa macchina serve un nuovo testo di attivazione generato da /offline. No connection: pressing MOVE LICENSE still deactivates the plugin on this machine and saves a receipt on the Desktop (Relate-deactivation-<id>.txt). Upload that file at salvatoreversace.com/offline, in the deactivation section: the seat is freed. To reactivate the same machine later you need a new activation text generated at /offline.

Se entrambi i posti risultano occupati e la vecchia macchina non è più disponibile (guasto, formattazione), scrivi a support@salvatoreversace.com dall'email d'acquisto. If both seats are in use and the old machine is no longer available (failure, reformat), write to support@salvatoreversace.com from your purchase email.

Senza licenza Relate funziona in modalità di prova, con tutte le funzioni attive e due limiti: Without a license Relate runs in trial mode, fully functional with two limits:

• massimo 3 istanze per sessione;max 3 instances per session;
• 20 minuti di utilizzo per sessione, poi l'audio si silenzia.20 minutes of use per session, then the audio goes silent.

Riavviando la DAW inizia una nuova sessione di prova. Inserendo la licenza i limiti spariscono, senza reinstallare nulla. Restarting the DAW starts a new trial session. Entering a license removes the limits, with nothing to reinstall.

Relate controlla al massimo una volta al giorno se esiste una versione nuova, leggendo un file pubblico di versione: nessun dato personale viene inviato. Quando c'è un aggiornamento compare un avviso nel plugin, che porta alla pagina di download. Relate checks at most once a day whether a new version exists, by reading a public version file: no personal data is sent. When an update is available a notice appears in the plugin, linking to the download page.

Per aggiornare basta installare la nuova versione sopra quella esistente (Windows: esegui il nuovo Relate-Setup.exe; macOS: esegui il nuovo Relate-Setup.pkg). Licenza, impostazioni e preset restano al loro posto. To update, just install the new version over the existing one (Windows: run the new Relate-Setup.exe; macOS: run the new Relate-Setup.pkg). License, settings and presets stay in place.

Se stai dismettendo il computer, prima di disinstallare libera il posto con MOVE LICENSE (vedi sopra). If you are retiring the computer, free the seat with MOVE LICENSE before uninstalling (see above).

Windows: Impostazioni › App › Relate › Disinstalla. La cartella Documenti\REE\Relate (guida e preset) non viene toccata: se non ti serve più, eliminala a mano. Windows: Settings › Apps › Relate › Uninstall. The Documents\REE\Relate folder (guide and presets) is left untouched: delete it by hand if you no longer need it.

macOS: elimina Relate.vst3 da /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 e Relate.component da /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. macOS: delete Relate.vst3 from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and Relate.component from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
